Moon Swings

Lately, I have been going through a bit of a rough patch with where I am in life, accepting it, and getting motivated to change the things I no longer want present. Financially being unstable is creating insatiability in other aspects of my life. So, I am no longer just working on manifesting abundance in my life, but instead: clarity on what exactly it is I want, and determination to be able to work on receiving it!

I realized today that I am not just on my moon cycle (making me already a bit more emotional than usual) but that it is also a full moon today! So I have stared calling my mood swings, moon swings this week. We often feel alone in what we are dealing with personally. I struggle with this a lot, as someone who doesn't ask for help or confide in people easily. But we are not alone. We are all connected to each other, and to the Universe. It is healthy to get grounded in that feeling of connectivity.

Here is an astrology writing by Robert Wilkinson on the full moon of Libra-Aries for March 2013.

My life as of late.

I've been really bad about uploading pictures to my blog, and in general on any social media outlet for friends and family. Therefore I thought an update of my life as of late, was long over due.

These first few pictures are from my first time traveling to Hermiston in eastern Oregon, to meet my boyfriend Nick's family and friends with his roommate.

Nick got sleepy after a night of drinking and hanging out with his friends.
This is us in their RV cuddled up, keeping warm.

Watching Nick skateboarding with his friends and younger siblings was a blast,
just not the falling part.

A walk to the park and river with Nick, his roomate's daughter and littler sister while his family was visiting over Thanksgiving break =D
(Regardless of what he believes, I think he'll be a great father one day!)

Nick's cousin and his girlfriend were able to visit also, as part of their road trip. They were super friendly, fun company to be around!

This is Davey, Nick's roommates' dog.
He can be a pain in the ass being hardly disciplined, but super sweet.

I spent part of the Holidays in Portland and eastern Oregon this year, after having decided to stay in Eugene. It was the first year I did not travel back home to Maui or hadn't already been there. In Portland I spent my first night with my boyfriend and his friends, Christmas with my friend and her family who I love. I got to experience some their Mexican traditions celebrating on Christmas Eve and opening presents right at midnight, along with eating very delicious Mexican food- who doesn't like Mexican food?! I watched Les Miserables on actual Christmas, which I absolutely loved and walked away from feeling like "wow, life really is what you make it!" And after hearing bad news about my Uncle passing away a few days earlier, I was doing a lot of self reflecting on what my life had become thus far and where I wanted it to go.

NYE night was quite a blur, spent with Nick and his friends.

Nick skating boarding again,

with his little brother Mikey

and friend Fontaine.

Hiking up the Hermiston butte with Nick, his little sister, brother and his girlfriend. It was pretty damn cold, as you can tell by Nick's unhappy face... it's either that or the lack of beard on his freshly shaven face lol.

Fun stuff not captured on my camera:
- A free Pretty Lights concert at the Cuthbert
- BBQs at my old house with interesting conversations, good food, music and a fire
- Willamette Valley Fresh Hop festival
- Collie Buddz concert
- Bowling with beer and friends
- Double dates :)
- Catching up with friends over cocktails and local music
- Nights out downtown dancing (one recently ending in a random, spontaneous limo ride deep into the  night/early morning)
- Matt & Kim with Passion Pit concert at Matthew Night Arena
